Desk inspection
Before school starts.
Imagine what was revealed in my woody desk
When I opened it.
There was a huge yucky fat rat steering back at me.
I saw an exercise book full of cockroaches, some squashed,
Some still crawling.
There were a lot of broken potato chips scattered every where
Blah! someone in the class screamed.
I was scared that the rat and creepy cockroaches
Would crawl all over me.
That would be terrible and I would scream Yuck!.

Such yucky things to find in your desk. I hope your desk is a lot cleaner then you described in your poem above.
Im sure half of your class would be standing on their chairs screaming if a rat hopped out of your desk and run across the classroom I know I sure would be.
Good work! Keep using that creative mind of yours.
